Resoultion and Results
(Resolution)
In accordance with the revision of Public Waters Management and Reclamation Act (Jul. 2022), as there was a request of some permission authorities to obtain consent from all related parties according to the newly established related parties' opinion collection procedure, it was requested for clarifying the definition of related party.
(Result)
As Business Processing Regulations on Public Water Management and Reclamation, Article 14-2 (collection of related party's opinion) was partially amended on December 4, 2023, a term 'high possibility' that occupancy and use of public water influenced fishing industry and caused conflict between related parties was replaced with a term 'possibility.'
In addition, a phrase 'resolution of differences between related parties' was replaced with 'degree of resolution of differences between related parties.'
